According to these beliefs, the tree, known as 'Nairifan,' was planted by the gods in the forests of Thailand.

It is said that this tree is sacred, as it is believed that long ago, Lord Indra lived in these woods with his wife and children. One day, while his wife was gathering fruits, she was attacked by demons. To protect her, Lord Indra is said to have planted twelve Nairifan trees instantly, creating fruits that mimic the shape of a girl's body to deceive the demons.
