A Shocking Discovery in a Bathroom

Many of us have had our share of encounters with snakes at some point. The mere sight of a common snake in a home can create chaos. Imagine the panic if a dangerous cobra were to appear! This is exactly what happened to a man who went to the toilet early in the morning. In the village of Baseli, near Pushkar, Rajasthan, a shocking incident unfolded. As a family member entered the bathroom, a black cobra emerged from the toilet seat, leaving him in utter shock.

Immediate Response and Rescue

Upon discovering the cobra in the toilet, the family was left stunned and terrified. They quickly alerted the local police, who responded promptly to rescue the snake. The family breathed a sigh of relief once the cobra was safely captured and relocated to a nearby forest. Additionally, the rescue team managed to retrieve a spectacular cobra from the kitchen as well. Rajendra, the snake rescuer, stated, "As soon as we received the call about cobras in the bathroom and kitchen, we rushed to the scene and safely captured both snakes, releasing them into the wilderness."

Concerns Over Snake Sightings

Amit Bhatt, the officer in charge of the rescue team, explained that the cobra, measuring approximately seven to eight feet in length, was hiding in the toilet. Another snake was found in the kitchen of the Sarveshwar Colony and was also captured and released. The presence of cobras in residential areas has raised concerns among locals, who fear that such occurrences could lead to serious incidents in the future. They believe that the forest department should find a solution to prevent snakes from entering populated areas. It is important to note that during the rainy season, snakes often seek shelter in residential neighborhoods, which can lead to dangerous situations. Recently, a "checkered keelback" snake was found in a toilet in Agra, highlighting the ongoing issue. Cobras are among the most venomous snakes, and it is wise to stay cautious around them.
