Iran's Warning to US Troops
Dubai: The speaker of Iran's parliament, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, declared on Sunday that Iranian forces are poised to retaliate against American troops upon their arrival, vowing to punish regional allies of the US.
Qalibaf emphasized, "Our missile systems are ready, and our resolve has intensified." His remarks coincided with a gathering of regional leaders in Pakistan aimed at addressing the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, as approximately 2,500 US Marines have been deployed to the area, and Iran-supported Houthi rebels have intensified their involvement in the conflict.
UAE's Concerns Over Iranian Threats
UAE adviser labels Iran as the 'primary threat'
Anwar Gargash, an adviser to the UAE, has urged that any resolution to the Middle Eastern conflict must include assurances against future Iranian assaults on neighboring countries. He described the Iranian regime as the foremost danger to the security of the Persian Gulf.
Gargash also called for reparations for attacks on civilians and critical infrastructure. Meanwhile, the UAE's defense systems have been activated in response to a surge in missile and drone assaults, with the defense ministry reporting interceptions of 16 missiles and 42 drones within the last day.
Iran's Threats Against US Ground Forces
Iran warns US against ground invasion
On Sunday, Qalibaf cautioned the US against a ground invasion, threatening to incinerate American troops and escalate assaults on US allies. He criticized a 15-point proposal from the US, which was relayed to Iran by Pakistan, labeling it as an attempt to achieve through negotiation what the US has failed to accomplish through military force.
He stated, "As long as the US seeks our capitulation, our response will remain resolute. We will not accept humiliation."
Israel's Military Readiness
Israel prepares for potential Houthi attacks
In response to missile threats from Yemen's Houthi rebels, Israel is coordinating closely with the US. Military spokesperson Col. Nadav Shoshani indicated that Israel is accustomed to ongoing assaults from the Houthis, who have targeted Israel and maritime routes in the Red Sea for over two years.
Shoshani reassured that despite claims of nearing the end of priority strikes, Israel still has numerous targets to address, particularly concerning ballistic missile production.
Iran's Threat to Educational Institutions
Tehran issues warning regarding US and Israeli universities
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard has declared that it will consider Israeli and American universities in the region as legitimate targets unless the US condemns recent bombings of Iranian educational institutions. They have set a deadline for the US to issue an official statement by March 30, demanding the evacuation of American and Israeli educational facilities.
This marks the first instance of Iran threatening to attack educational institutions linked to Israel and the US, following recent strikes on Iranian universities allegedly connected to weapons development.
