Telangana's Chief Minister Highlights State's Investment Success and Economic Growth

On Monday, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of Telangana emphasized the state's leadership in attracting investments, controlling inflation, and maintaining law and order.
During the inauguration of Sonata Software's new facility, he noted that since the Congress party came to power in December 2023, Telangana has successfully attracted nearly ₹3 lakh crore in investments.
He mentioned that the government has created over 100,000 jobs in the private sector.
At global investor conferences in Davos, as well as in the USA, South Korea, Japan, and Singapore, the government has assured the world that Telangana is synonymous with business.
This year, Telangana emerged as the leading state in Davos, attracting approximately ₹1.78 lakh crore in investments.
Reddy stated, 'We are the number one state in India for both domestic and international investments.'
He highlighted that Hyderabad has become a Global Capability Center (GCC) for both software and life sciences, establishing itself as a leading hub for AI-ready data centers and manufacturing in the life sciences sector.
Major IT firms such as Microsoft, Cognizant, HCL Tech, Infosys, and Wipro have opened new campuses and are expanding in Hyderabad.
Additionally, he mentioned that the 'Miss World' competition is currently taking place in Hyderabad, and the government aims to host more global events in the future.
The Chief Minister concluded, 'Our vision, termed “Telangana Rising,” focuses on balancing growth, job creation, infrastructure development, and welfare for all segments of society.'
Reddy called for collaboration with companies like Sonata Software to achieve the government's goal of transforming Telangana into a $1 trillion economy and making Hyderabad 'the most amazing city in the world.'
