Telangana CM Invites PM Modi to Global Summit in December

Invitation to the Global Summit
The Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, extended an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the Telangana Rising Global Summit, scheduled for December 8 and 9 at the India Future City. Accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu, the Chief Minister met with the Prime Minister at the Parliament House to present the invitation. He also gifted the Prime Minister the logo of the Global Summit.
Objectives of the Global Summit
During their meeting, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy elaborated on the primary goal of the summit, which is to attract global investment and strengthen the state's economy by enhancing various sectors. He informed the Prime Minister that the state government aims to achieve a $3 trillion economy by 2047, aligning with the targets set by the central government under the 'Developed India 2047' initiative.
Vision Document for Telangana Rising 2047
The Chief Minister mentioned that the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document has been prepared to analyze development goals across all sectors and future plans. This document, which will be unveiled at the summit, has been developed in consultation with the NITI Aayog and discussions with experts from various fields. Requesting the Prime Minister's support for the developmental initiatives under the Telangana Rising vision, he urged for the approval of all pending projects.
Hyderabad Metro Rail Project Approval
Furthermore, the Chief Minister drew the Prime Minister's attention to the pending approval for the second phase of the Hyderabad Metro Rail project. He stated that the state government has already submitted proposals for an extension covering a total length of 162.5 kilometers. He requested the Prime Minister to approve this project, which is estimated to cost ₹43,848 crores, as a joint venture between the central and state governments.
