Tejashwi Yadav's Support for Mamata Banerjee
Tejashwi Yadav, a prominent leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), expressed his strong belief that Mamata Banerjee will secure her position as West Bengal's Chief Minister for the fourth consecutive time. Yadav participated in a roadshow organized by the ruling party in the North 24 Parganas district.
On Friday, he arrived in the area and took part in roadshows across the Jagaddal, Bhatpara, and Khardah assembly constituencies. In a post on 'X', he mentioned, 'I enthusiastically participated in the roadshow supporting Trinamool Congress candidates Amit Gupta from Bhatpara and Somnath Shyam from Jagaddal, both under the Barrackpore Lok Sabha constituency.'
After joining a rally in support of Trinamool candidate Devdeep Purohit from Khardah, Yadav remarked, 'The unwavering love, strong faith, and extensive public support clearly indicate that the people of West Bengal are determined to bless Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with a resounding majority for the fourth time.'
Comments on Political Shifts
Upon his arrival in Kolkata, Yadav was asked to comment on Raghav Chadha's recent switch from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In response, he stated, 'Some individuals make compromises. He may have joined the BJP out of fear or greed.'
