Tej Pratap Yadav Alleges Conspiracy Against Him

Tej Pratap Yadav, the leader of the Jan Shakti Janata Dal (JJD) and the eldest son of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, announced on Saturday that he has lodged a police complaint against a former associate. He alleges that this individual plotted to murder both him and his father. The complaint was filed at the Secretariat police station on Friday, where Tej Pratap accused his former associate, Akash Yadav, and his family of conspiring to kill him and his ailing father.

In statements to the media, Yadav revealed that based on his complaint, an FIR has been registered against Akash Yadav, his sister Anushka Yadav, and six others. He expressed that they are attempting to tarnish his reputation. Tej Pratap emphasized that his father, Lalu Prasad, is unwell and that there is a serious plot against both of their lives. He has requested adequate security from Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. Anushka Yadav is among those named in the complaint, with Tej Pratap claiming she was in a relationship with him despite being married to another man.

Following this incident, his father expelled him from the RJD, but later the former state minister retracted his statement, attributing the misunderstanding to a 'hacked' social media account. He further suggested that the alleged threats could be part of a larger political conspiracy, hinting that Akash Yadav might be collaborating with opposition forces to orchestrate his assassination.

Before Tej Pratap's complaint, Akash Yadav had already filed a complaint against the JJD leader at the Patliputra police station in the state capital. Akash accused Tej Pratap and his associates of attempting to forcibly enter his home under the pretense of visiting family members. However, the JJD leader dismissed these allegations as false and fabricated. Akash Yadav also mentioned receiving a call from a U.S. number, where the caller claimed to have connections with a gangster incarcerated in prison.
