Sixteen-year-old Aarav Thakur, hailing from Sundernagar in the Mandi district, has made his mark by securing the First Runner-Up title at the esteemed Mr., Miss and Mrs. North Indian Star competition, which took place on July 19 at the Tagore Theatre Auditorium in Chandigarh.
The national pageant attracted around 70 participants from various regions of North India. Aarav captivated both the judges and the audience with his poise, charisma, communication abilities, and overall charm, earning him significant recognition.
This latest accolade adds to Aarav's impressive portfolio. Earlier this year, he achieved the Second Runner-Up position in the Mr. and Miss Northern contest and was among the Top 20 finalists, demonstrating his consistent performance in competitive environments.
In addition to his modeling pursuits, Aarav is a talented athlete. He leads his school's football team, has represented Himachal Pradesh in state-level competitions, and was honored as the Best Athlete at his school. His ability to juggle academics, sports, and personal development showcases his commitment and holistic growth.
School principal Mohit Chugh commended Aarav for his achievements, highlighting his excellence in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. Aarav's father, Rajesh Thakur, a well-known photographer, attributed his son's success to his discipline and hard work, mentioning that Aarav aims to represent Himachal Pradesh on both national and international stages.
