Teen Steals 46 Lakhs to Impress Friends on Friendship Day

It is often said that while love may fade, a true friend will never betray you. Many of us have seen numerous films depicting friendship, but the stories portrayed are often fictional. Today, we bring you a real-life incident from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, that will leave you astonished.

On Friendship Day, a boy decided to showcase his friendship by stealing 46 lakhs from his father's locker. He distributed the stolen money among his friends, with a significant portion going to the son of a daily wage laborer. Surprisingly, he gifted this boy a whopping 15 lakhs. Additionally, he rewarded friends who completed their homework with generous amounts of money. With the funds received from his friend, one of the boys even purchased a car. Furthermore, he gifted every student in his coaching class a smartphone and a bracelet.

The boy's parents discovered the theft when his father went to withdraw money from the locker. Upon opening it, he was shocked to find that more than half of the 60 lakhs he had saved from selling a house was missing. Following this, they reported the incident to the police, who began an investigation.

During the inquiry, the boy revealed to the police that he had given extravagant gifts to his friends to impress them on Friendship Day. He even presented his girlfriend with a diamond ring worth lakhs. As a result of this incident, the police managed to recover 15 lakhs and requested the families of his friends to return the money. However, due to the boy's minor status, no charges were filed against him.
