The Himachal Pradesh University Teachers’ Welfare Association (HPUTWA) has been actively engaged in the 'Save University Campaign' for the past 15 days, with educators protesting to demand the reinstatement of the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) and to uphold the university's autonomy, academic freedom, and institutional integrity.
On Wednesday, faculty members assembled outside the Vice-Chancellor's office at 12:45 PM, chanting slogans to support their cause. Concurrently, educators at the Regional Centre in Dharamshala also participated in a demonstration, showing solidarity with their colleagues in Shimla.
