Allegations Against Teacher in Ballia District

Ballia (Uttar Pradesh), July 28 - A teacher at a government primary school in the district has been charged with fraud and forgery to obtain employment. This information was disclosed by the police on Tuesday.


According to the police, a formal complaint was filed by Pankaj Kumar Singh, the Block Education Officer of the Navanagar education sector, leading to the registration of a case against Shivnath Yadav, a teacher at the government composite school in Belsadi village. The case was registered under various sections of the BNS, including 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, and 340(2) at the Nagar police station on Monday night.


Pankaj Kumar Singh stated that Shivnath Yadav was appointed as a teacher on December 6, 1999. A complaint regarding Yadav's appointment was lodged by Ajit Kumar Yadav from Khunta Bahorwan village through the Chief Minister's portal. Following an investigation into this complaint by the District Basic Education Officer, Manish Kumar Singh, Shivnath Yadav was dismissed from his position on March 24, 2026.


Station Officer Sanjay Mishra confirmed that the police have registered the case and are currently investigating the matter.
