According to police reports, two suspects named Karthik and Mohanraj have been arrested in connection with the murder. The girl went missing while playing in front of her home, and her parents and relatives later discovered her body near a pond, causing unrest in the area. The family suspects sexual assault and has demanded strict action against the offenders. The Sulur police have registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem at a government hospital. Authorities suspect that the girl may have been strangled.
The body is currently at the ESI hospital in Varadarajapuram for post-mortem, where a heavy police presence has been deployed. Meanwhile, the victim's parents and relatives protested near the Sulur police station on the national highway, demanding justice. The demonstration caused traffic disruptions, prompting police intervention and discussions with the protesters.
