Maliwal further expressed her disappointment, stating that the principles, values, and commitment to honest politics with which they began their journey have strayed under the influence of Arvind Kejriwal and the entire AAP. She alleged that she was subjected to severe physical assault and misconduct at Kejriwal's residence, where efforts were made to protect his associates while threatening her and attempting to ruin her reputation.
She emphasized that the rampant corruption within AAP, the harassment and assault of women, the promotion of criminal elements, and the betrayal of Punjab were key factors in her decision to leave the party. Maliwal mentioned that she was in Itanagar for a parliamentary committee meeting and would discuss the matter in detail upon her return to Delhi tonight.
