Furthermore, Maliwal alleged that Mann is hiding millions in Australia. In a post on social media, she stated, 'A person who drinks before going to Gurudwaras, temples, government meetings, and Parliament, and who provides shelter to thieves and goons in his government, is making disgraceful statements and accusations against the sacred Sri Akal Takht. This is truly the age of darkness and shamelessness.'

In response to the allegations, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann appeared before the Sri Akal Takht Sahib Secretariat today concerning his purported comments on Sikh traditions.
