A low-intensity explosion occurred outside the Punjab BJP office in Chandigarh. This incident took place in the parking area near the office located in Sector 37. According to BJP media in-charge Vineet Joshi, the explosion occurred around 5 PM, producing a significant amount of smoke. The blast created a chaotic atmosphere, damaging a scooter and a car. The occurrence of such an explosion near the party office raises serious concerns, especially since the state BJP president has been staying in the area for the past four days.

A team from the CFSL is on-site to gather evidence and assess the situation. They are meticulously examining the area to determine the cause of the explosion. To enhance security around the office, personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have been deployed.
