Tragic Incident in Khargone District

Khargone, July 30 - A couple was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, prompting authorities to initiate an investigation. A police official provided this information on Thursday. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the Salimpura village, located within the jurisdiction of the Balkawada police station.


According to reports, 31-year-old Praveen Munivar and his 27-year-old wife, Sheila Bai, were discovered lifeless in their home. Family members rushed them to Ksaravad Hospital, where doctors pronounced them dead. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shakuntala Ruhal informed that preliminary investigations suggest the couple may have died from poisoning, but the exact cause will be confirmed once the post-mortem report is available. She stated that the police are looking into the reasons behind this tragic decision.


Ruhal mentioned that statements from the deceased's relatives and neighbors will also be collected. Upon receiving the report, police arrived at the scene to conduct an inspection and began their inquiry. The bodies were sent for post-mortem on Wednesday evening and later handed over to the family.
