Suryakumar Yadav, the current captain of India's T20I team, has reached a significant career milestone by becoming the leading run-scorer for Mumbai in T20 cricket. He has surpassed Aditya Tare's previous record, now holding a total of 1,717 runs.

Yadav's impressive tally has been accumulated over 71 matches, boasting a remarkable strike rate of 145.38. His performance includes nine half-centuries, with his highest score recorded at an unbeaten 94.

Currently, Suryakumar is participating in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy representing his state. He achieved this milestone while playing against Kerala, scoring a crucial 32 runs off 25 balls.
