He remarked, "Sanju has finally lifted the weight off his shoulders with this hundred. Transitioning to a new franchise and delivering immediate results is challenging, especially given the expectations surrounding him. Being part of the most successful team in IPL history comes with its own set of performance demands."

Raina emphasized the strategic benefit of having Samson as an opener for CSK, noting that his position bolsters the middle order and overall batting versatility.
