This initiative will kick off on April 21, 2026, and will culminate in a Special Lok Adalat set for August 21–23, 2026.
Purpose of the Special Lok Adalat
The primary goal of this Special Lok Adalat is to encourage the amicable resolution of outstanding cases pending before the Supreme Court through mechanisms that rely on mutual consent.
Call for Participation
The Supreme Court invites all advocates, litigants, and relevant stakeholders to engage actively in this initiative, which aims to facilitate effective dispute resolution. Participants can choose to appear either in person or virtually via an online platform to reach settlements.
