After Sunrisers Hyderabad's defeat against the Gujarat Titans, head coach Daniel Vettori expressed admiration for the Titans' bowling attack, labeling them a 'formidable team.' Following impressive half-centuries from Sai Sudharsan and Washington Sundar, the Titans posted a score of 168/5. The pace duo of Mohammed Siraj and Kagiso Rabada then dominated the SRH batting lineup, limiting them to a mere 86 runs, marking SRH's largest loss in IPL history by runs and propelling GT to the top of the standings with 16 points.


In the post-match press conference, Vettori acknowledged the challenge posed by GT's five seamers and star spinner Rashid Khan. He remarked, 'GT delivered an exceptional performance, applying significant pressure with their bowling. The opening partnership of Rabada and Siraj was particularly effective. We struggled to get off to a good start, and their bowling was outstanding.' Vettori further noted that GT is capable of scoring high totals, stating, 'They can easily reach scores of 220 or 230 when necessary and have adapted well to challenging bowling conditions.'
