The book, written by Kiran Waikar and Sunil Dudhale, explores Jagdale's evolution from a player to an influential figure in cricket administration.

During the book launch in Indore, Gavaskar expressed admiration for Jagdale's extensive contributions to cricket, emphasizing that his service is unmatched. Sanjay Jagdale reminisced about his enduring friendship with Gavaskar, which dates back to their school cricket days in 1965. Jagdale shared, "Our friendship began in 1965 during the Cooch Behar Trophy, and we have supported each other through various cricketing stages, including school, college, and international matches."
