On the final day of the 8th Indian Open Para Athletics International Championship 2026, Paralympic champion Sumit Antil stole the spotlight with an outstanding performance in the Men's Javelin Throw F64 event held at Shree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. Representing Haryana, he secured the gold medal with an impressive throw measuring 74.82 meters.
