Successful Blood Donation Camp Held at DAV Public School, Bankhandi
Community Spirit Shines at Blood Donation Camp
Bankhandi
A successful blood donation camp took place at DAV Public School in Bankhandi on Sunday, organized with the assistance of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation. The event saw enthusiastic involvement from teachers, parents, and local social workers, showcasing a strong commitment to humanitarian efforts.
Throughout the camp, a total of 50 blood units were collected, representing a meaningful contribution to the community. This initiative underscored the DAV Organisation’s enduring tradition of merging education with service, sacrifice, and national welfare. Guided by the principles of Maharshi Swami Dayanand Saraswati and his motto “Krinvanto Vishwam Aryam” (Make the world noble), DAV has consistently been at the forefront of social reform and human welfare.
During the event, Principal Subhash Sharma highlighted that Maharshi Dayanand’s teaching—“Service to humanity is the truest form of religion”—continues to motivate the DAV community. He promised that the school would persist in organizing similar service-oriented initiatives in the future, actively contributing to societal welfare.
This camp not only strengthened the relationship between the school and the local community but also reinforced the values of compassion, sacrifice, and shared responsibility.
