A shocking incident has emerged from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, where a young man was lured into a marriage scam by a remarkably attractive woman. He was invited to meet her, and during their conversation in a car, he was manipulated into parting with two lakh rupees. Following this deceit, both the woman and her accomplice vanished. The victim promptly reported the incident to the police, who have since initiated an investigation.
Marriage Proposal Made Just Days Ago
Deependra Gurjar, a resident of Ghorira in Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, had discussed a marriage proposal for his younger brother, Shivraj, with a woman named Aarti just eight days prior. She had requested two lakh rupees for the meeting. On Friday, he arrived at Rambagh with his companion Udal and a driver. At that moment, two young men and another individual appeared, introducing him to a stunning woman who immediately made him agree to the marriage.
Woman Disappears Under Pretense
The woman, identified as Anjali, claimed she needed to step out of the car to speak with her sister. During this time, she also took the victim's mobile phone. They waited for her return, but Anjali never came back, and the others involved disappeared with the money.
Victim Files a Police Report
Realizing he had been scammed, the victim went to the police station to report the incident. Following his complaint, the police registered a case and are currently searching for the suspects.
