The police's social media monitoring cell identified a video shared by the Instagram account 'sumit_ke_blog'.

In the video, a young man named Sumit is seen celebrating a birthday with friends by igniting firecrackers very close to the Kedarnath temple. He confirms in the video that he is celebrating a friend's birthday by setting off the fireworks.

The noise from firecrackers and such inappropriate behavior at a highly sacred and sensitive religious site has deeply hurt the sentiments of millions of devotees worldwide.
