Launch of the India-Korea Digital Bridge
Prime Minister Modi announced the initiation of the 'India-Korea Digital Bridge', a decade-long project aimed at enhancing collaboration in artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and information technology. He mentioned that agreements are being signed in various sectors, including shipbuilding, sustainability, steel, and ports. Through cooperation in cultural and creative industries, they aim to set new benchmarks in film, animation, and gaming. Ambitious Trade Goals
During the press conference, President Lee stated that India and South Korea have agreed to elevate their current annual trade from $25 billion to approximately $50 billion by 2030. Discussing the vision of a developed India, he noted that both sides explored ways to enhance their bilateral relations and shared perspectives on global and regional issues. The South Korean President acknowledged India's emergence as a leading nation in the 'Global South', commending its remarkable progress under the 'Developed India 2047' vision. He also highlighted South Korea's advancements in chip manufacturing, semiconductors, and cultural industries.
