Special Bus Services Launched for Kartik Swami Temple Reopening in Himachal Pradesh

In celebration of the reopening of the historic Kartik Swami Temple located in Kugti, the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has initiated special bus services aimed at assisting devotees. The local administration in Bharmour has also implemented thorough arrangements for traffic control, parking, drinking water, and other vital amenities to ensure a pleasant pilgrimage experience.

Vikas Sharma, the Additional District Magistrate of Bharmour, announced that in addition to the regular bus services connecting Bharmour and Kugti, extra buses will be available on April 13 and 14 to cater to the anticipated influx of pilgrims.

Regular Bus Schedule (Bharmaur–Kugti):

• 10:20 AM departure from Bharmour, arriving at Kugti by 11:30 AM


• 12:00 PM return from Kugti, reaching Bharmour at 1:00 PM


• 1:30 PM departure from Bharmour, arriving at Kugti at 2:30 PM


• 3:30 PM return from Kugti, arriving at Bharmour by 5:20 PM


• 4:20 PM departure from Bharmour, arriving at Kugti at 6:20 PM


• Night halt at Kugti, with a return journey the next morning at 8:30 AM

Special Bus Schedule – April 13:

• 9:00 AM departure from Bharmour, returning from Kugti at 11:00 AM


• 12:00 PM departure from Bharmour, returning from Kugti at 2:00 PM


• 3:30 PM departure from Bharmour, returning from Kugti at 5:00 PM

• 6:00 AM & 7:30 AM departures from Bharmour


• 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM returns from Kugti


• 3:00 PM departure from Bharmour, returning from Kugti at 4:30 PM

The administration has committed to providing additional buses if necessary, based on the number of attendees. Authorities have urged pilgrims to stick to the scheduled times and adhere to the guidelines issued for a safe and smooth journey.
