Sonam Uttam Maskar's Triumph

At the 24th Kumar Surendra Singh Memorial Shooting Championship held at the Madhya Pradesh State Academy in Bhopal, Sonam Uttam Maskar from the Railways secured the gold medal in the women's 10m Air Rifle event.


As reported by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), Sonam achieved a remarkable score of 252.1 in the finals on Friday. Elavenil Valarivan from Gujarat took home the silver medal with a score of 251.7, while Arya Borse from Maharashtra earned the bronze with a score of 230.4. Shraddha Divate, also from Maharashtra, finished in fourth place with a score of 209.7.


Qualification Round Highlights

In the qualification round, Shambhavi Shravan Kshirsagar from Maharashtra led the standings with a score of 633.9, followed closely by Elavenil at 632.8 and Arya with 631.4. Vidarsa K. Vinod from Kerala also qualified for the finals, securing fourth place with a score of 631.4.


Junior Women's 10m Air Rifle Results

Tilottama Sen from West Bengal won the junior women's title with a score of 253.4 in the finals. Shambhavi finished just behind her with a score of 253.3, while Anvii Vikram Rathod claimed the bronze with a score of 230.1. Arikta Singh from Maharashtra finished fourth with a score of 208.8.


Youth Women's 10m Air Rifle Results

In the youth women's category, Sanvi R.P from Karnataka clinched the title with a score of 251.2. Ojasvi Thakur from Punjab secured the silver medal with a score of 251.1, and Saniya Shaikh from Maharashtra took home the bronze with a score of 229.2.
