Tragic Incident in Kaushambi District

In a shocking incident in the Kokhraj area of Kaushambi district, a man reportedly killed his mother after a violent altercation. Authorities have taken the suspect into custody.

According to police reports, the altercation occurred on Sunday night between 40-year-old Guddu, also known as Yakub, and his 75-year-old mother, Ayesha, in the Old Market neighborhood.

As the argument escalated, Guddu began to physically assault his mother. Neighbors, hearing the commotion, rushed to the scene in an attempt to intervene and protect the elderly woman.

Despite the efforts of the community members to calm him down, Guddu, who is known to be addicted to alcohol, continued his aggressive behavior.

Eventually, he locked the door and continued to beat his mother, resulting in her death at the scene. Police arrived shortly after receiving reports of the incident and arrested Guddu. The body of the deceased has been sent for an autopsy.
