A father, bedridden in his old age, called his daughter to impart a crucial lesson. He said, "My dear, I have invested all my resources in your education, and I have not left you any wealth. The only asset I possess is that old car parked outside. Before you sell it, take it to the market and see how much people are willing to pay for it."

Following her father's advice, the daughter took the old car to the market. She approached a dealer who examined the vehicle and offered her ₹50,000, stating it looked quite old. She returned home to inform her father.

"Now, show the car to the owner of the local grocery store and ask him how much he would pay for it," her father instructed. The daughter complied and returned with news that the store owner was willing to buy it for ₹75,000, given her regular patronage.

Her father then suggested, "Take the car to a museum in the neighboring city and inquire about their offer." The daughter did as told and learned that the museum was interested in purchasing the car for ₹1 million, as it was a rare Holden Torana.

Seeing his daughter's excitement, the father explained, "The right value can only be found in the right place. We shouldn't feel disheartened or angry when we don't receive the right price. It simply means we are not in the right environment. We should seek out those who recognize our worth and spend our time there."

This story conveys a simple yet profound message: instead of lamenting over those who overlook us, we should cherish the company of those who appreciate and respect us. By surrounding ourselves with such individuals, we can avoid unnecessary troubles.
