Sister Accuses Brother of Sexual Assault Amid Family Pressure

A 23-year-old woman from the Kalyanpur area has filed a complaint against her older brother and mother, alleging that her brother has been sexually assaulting her while their mother takes his side. The young woman reported feeling pressured and stated that she was coerced into silence.

According to her statement to the police, her brother works as a security guard and is also involved in occult practices. She claims that under her mother's influence, he has been tormenting her for an extended period. The woman alleges that he has assaulted her multiple times, and when she resisted, he physically attacked her. Additionally, he threatened her with death if she attempted to report the incidents.

Despite being aware of the situation, her mother continues to support her brother. After enduring harassment again on Friday night, the woman gathered her courage and approached the Kalyanpur police station to file her complaint.

The victim revealed that her brother's abusive behavior escalated after she befriended a young man. Upon learning of this friendship, her brother physically assaulted her and began restricting her movements. He convinced their mother that the sister was mentally unstable and needed to be 'cured' through occult practices, which he used as a pretext for his assaults. The police have since arrested the accused and taken him into custody.
