Sinalo Jafta Out of Zimbabwe Tour; Jae-Leigh Filander Steps In
Jafta's Injury Update
Wicketkeeper-batter Sinalo Jafta will not participate in South Africa's forthcoming tour of Zimbabwe due to a hamstring injury.
T20I Series Schedule
The T20I series, consisting of five matches, will take place entirely in Bulawayo. The opening match is set for September 11, followed by subsequent matches on September 13, 15, 17, and 19.
Changes in the Squad
Jae-Leigh Filander, an uncapped wicketkeeper, has been selected as Jafta's replacement. Karabo Meso is anticipated to assume the role of the primary wicketkeeper. "SA U19 Women and Western Province starlet Jae-Leigh Filander has received her maiden senior international call-up as a replacement and will join the Proteas Women squad in Tshwane ahead of the team’s departure for Bulawayo on Monday, 07 September," the post further elaborated.
