Mumbai Falcons Racing Limited (MFRL) has officially announced that renowned cricketer Shreyas Iyer will serve as the brand ambassador for the F1 Programme in India.


This initiative is part of an agreement that allows Mumbai Falcons to organize an official Formula 1-sanctioned sim racing event, known as the F1 Sim Racing India Open 2026, aimed at creating a competitive platform for emerging talent throughout the nation.

Details on the F1 Sim Racing India Open 2026

The Championship will utilize F1 25, the official game of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, featuring authentic circuits, competitive formats, and team liveries from the global series. Registrations will open on April 30 via the MFRL App, which is accessible on both the Play Store and Apple App Store. Participants can compete on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox.


The online qualifiers will take place in the upcoming months, leading to city-based simulator rounds, with the national final scheduled for November in Mumbai. This initiative represents the most ambitious nationwide project to date, aimed at connecting Indian youth with a global competition format through a well-defined pathway.
