Details of the Marriage
Dinesh Kumar, a resident of Gangacholi, approached the police on Wednesday evening to recount his ordeal. He explained that he had married a woman from a neighboring village on October 19, who was a mother of two. This was Dinesh's first marriage, while the woman had been married before. He was led to believe that her previous husband had passed away, which influenced his decision to marry her.
Allegations of Drugging on Wedding Night
According to Dinesh, he began his new life with great enthusiasm and hope after the wedding. He welcomed his bride home and even gifted her precious gold and silver jewelry. However, his joy was short-lived. Allegations arose that on their wedding night, the bride offered him milk laced with a drug. Shortly after consuming it, he fell into a deep sleep, unaware of the events that transpired during the night.

Once Dinesh was asleep, the woman allegedly seized the opportunity to steal approximately five lakh rupees worth of jewelry and ten thousand rupees in cash before fleeing.
