Shocking Murder Plot Uncovered in Alwar: Bank Manager's Wife and Taxi Driver Arrested
A Disturbing Case in Alwar
In a startling incident from Alwar, Rajasthan, a bank manager's wife conspired with her taxi driver lover to murder her husband. Fortunately, the police uncovered the plot in time, leading to the arrest of both suspects.
Details of the Case

The incident took place in the town of Govindgarh. Archana Arora married Karnav Khatri in 2018. Karnav works as a manager at a private bank in Jaipur, while Archana lived in Alwar with their two children. Due to his job, Karnav stayed in Jaipur, and Archana frequently traveled to see him by taxi, which ultimately led to her downfall.
Growing Closeness with the Taxi Driver
During her taxi rides, Archana developed a close relationship with the driver, Rishabh Sharma. Initially, their interactions were casual, but they soon evolved into a romantic affair. They decided to live together, viewing Archana's husband as an obstacle to their plans.
The Beginning of Their Affair
According to police reports, Rishabh hails from Bandikui in Dausa district. After his mother's death, he moved to his grandfather's house in Rajgarh, Alwar. Archana and Rishabh met in April 2025, and their conversations quickly deepened into a serious relationship.
Eloping with Her Lover
Just months later, on September 7, 2025, Archana left her home with her two-year-old son, taking cash and jewelry with her to join Rishabh. Initially, they went to Jaipur, later settling in Bhiwadi in December 2025. Although she returned to Alwar for a while, she resumed living with Rishabh in January 2026.
Attempted Murder and Police Involvement
The situation escalated in March 2026 when Rishabh attempted to attack the bank manager while driving him to Jaipur. The manager narrowly escaped and reported the incident to the police on March 7, providing crucial audio evidence.
False Allegations and Extortion Attempts
Investigations revealed that Archana had previously filed a false rape case against Rishabh but later retracted her claims in court. Following Rishabh's arrest, she sent threatening letters to her husband demanding 30 to 50 lakh rupees.
Threats and Arrests
The victim reported that Rishabh threatened to harm not him but his family. After demanding the money, both suspects went into hiding. Eventually, the police apprehended them and presented them in court, where Archana was remanded to jail and Rishabh was placed in police custody.
