Shocking Murder in Indore Linked to Superstition
Gruesome Incident in Indore
Indore News: A chilling incident has emerged from Indore, the economic hub of Madhya Pradesh. In the Rajendra Nagar area, a young man brutally murdered his fellow laborer due to superstitious beliefs. The accused suspected that his companion had cast a spell on him, causing him to see ghosts in his dreams.
The incident occurred three days ago when police discovered the bloodied body of an unidentified man in an open field in Rajendra Nagar. The victim's face was severely crushed with a stone to prevent identification. Initially, this appeared to be a blind murder mystery for the police, but two mobile phones without SIM cards found at the scene shifted the investigation's direction.
Mobile Data Reveals Identity
With assistance from the cyber cell, investigators analyzed the phone data, leading to the identification of the victim as Golu, also known as Krishna Kumar Ahirwar, from Sagar. Following this, police connected the dots and apprehended the main suspect, Vikas, in Betul, along with two accomplices, Bhura and Krishna.
Fear of Ghosts Sparks Murder
During interrogation, Vikas made shocking revelations. He claimed that he had been experiencing delusions, believing that his mental state was deteriorating due to Golu's supposed black magic. He stated, 'I saw ghosts because of Golu.'
According to reports, the laborers were drinking in the field when a dispute arose between Vikas and Golu regarding the alleged black magic. In a fit of rage and fear, Vikas struck Golu on the head with a nearby brick. To conceal his identity, he then brutally crushed Golu's face with a stone.
Confessions from the Accused
As per DGP Krishna Lalchandani, all three suspects have confessed to their crimes and are currently in police custody. This incident highlights the dark side of superstition in society, where a mere illusion can lead to the loss of life.
