Tragic Incident in Bareilly
Bareilly News: A shocking incident has emerged from Bareilly district in Uttar Pradesh, where a seemingly innocuous comment on Instagram led to a tragic death. The body of 24-year-old Aman Raza was discovered in a dilapidated building near the city railway station, causing a stir in the community.
Aman, who worked at a local salon and hailed from Malookpur, was found dead on April 8. The police launched an investigation immediately after the discovery, noting the severe condition of the body, which bore approximately 21 deep wounds, indicating a brutal murder.
Suspect Identified Through CCTV Footage
Initially, Aman's family suspected three of his friends, leading to a formal complaint. However, investigations cleared them of any wrongdoing. The police then reviewed CCTV footage from the area and examined call records, which pointed to a suspect named Samad Musa, a 19-year-old resident of Zakhira.
Acting swiftly, law enforcement apprehended Samad near the city vegetable market. During interrogation, he revealed shocking details about his relationship with Aman, which had soured over the past six months after they met on Instagram.
Escalating Conflict Over Instagram Comments
Reports indicate that Aman frequently posted derogatory comments on Samad's Instagram reels, leading to numerous heated exchanges between the two. This ongoing conflict escalated to the point where Samad decided to eliminate Aman.
On April 7, the day of the incident, Samad called Aman to meet him near the city railway station. As they conversed, they moved towards a secluded area where Samad suddenly pushed Aman, causing him to fall. He then attacked Aman with a brick, striking him repeatedly on the head and face.
Body Concealed in a Ruin
After the murder, Samad dragged Aman's body to a nearby ruin to hide it from view. To ensure Aman was dead, he struck him again with the brick. The police later recovered the blood-stained brick used in the crime based on Samad's confession. Currently, the suspect has been remanded to jail, and further investigations are underway.
