Shocking Murder Case Solved in Agra Using QR Code on Liquor Bottle
Murder Uncovered in Agra
In a startling incident from Agra, a woman conspired with her lover to murder her husband. The police managed to apprehend three suspects within just 24 hours, thanks to a QR code found on a liquor bottle.
This shocking case emerged from Uttar Pradesh's Agra district, where authorities revealed the details of a gruesome murder within a day. The police discovered a partially burned body on the roadside, later identified as Lokendra, who had been missing since April 1.
How the Investigation Took a Turn
Initially, the case posed a challenge for the police, but a discarded liquor bottle found at the scene shifted the investigation's trajectory. Scanning the QR code on the bottle led them to the store where the alcohol was purchased. The police then reviewed the store's CCTV footage, which showed Lokendra with two individuals.
Unraveling the Murder Plot
The two individuals in the footage were identified as Mahesh and Dharmveer. Upon interrogation, they revealed the entire murder conspiracy. It was disclosed that Mahesh had an illicit affair with Lokendra's wife. When Lokendra discovered this relationship, he confronted them and informed family and neighbors, prompting his wife to plot the murder with her lover.
Details of the Murder
According to police reports, Mahesh lured Lokendra under the pretense of drinking alcohol together. They took him to a secluded field, where they forced him to drink and subsequently strangled him. To conceal their crime, they attempted to burn the body before fleeing the scene.
Identification of the Victim
The identification of the charred body was made possible through tattoos on Lokendra's skin. Based on the CCTV footage, digital evidence, and the interrogation results, the police arrested the wife, her lover, and his accomplice within 24 hours.
