Eventually, she traveled to Patna to meet him. They spent several enjoyable days together until one day, while they were in a shop, she discovered that Shameem was recording her without consent. In a fit of rage, she attacked him with a metal rod.

By the time the assault ended, Shameem had succumbed to his injuries. Following the murder, she stole cash from the shop and fled on Shameem's motorcycle.
