Shocking Murder Case: Indore Businessman's Death Linked to Wife and Her Alleged Lover

Indore Businessman's Murder Investigation
In a disturbing turn of events, a 23-year-old suspect in the murder of Indore transport entrepreneur Raja Raghuvanshi was presented in a district court on Tuesday. The court has granted a seven-day transit custody to the Meghalaya police, as confirmed by a police official.
The accused, Anand Kurmi, was brought before the court by the Meghalaya police, as stated by Indore's Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rajesh Dandotia.
Following the police's request, the court ordered Kurmi to remain in transit custody until June 16.
Kurmi was apprehended in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh, and subsequently transported to Indore on Monday.
Three additional suspects in the murder case—Raj Kushwaha, Vishal Chauhan, and Akash Rajput—were also remanded to the Meghalaya police's custody for a week by the court on Monday.
According to the official, the Meghalaya police will take all four suspects based on the transit custody order.
The suspects, aged between 20 and 25, have no prior criminal records in local police databases.
Sonam Raghuvanshi, the 25-year-old wife of the deceased, is also implicated in the murder. She reportedly surrendered at the Nandganj Police Station in Ghazipur district, Uttar Pradesh, and was subsequently arrested by the Meghalaya police.
Allegations suggest that Sonam conspired to eliminate her husband during their honeymoon in Meghalaya, shortly after their wedding in Indore. Officials believe she was romantically involved with Kushwaha.
Sonam's family resides in the Govind Nagar Kharcha area of Indore, where she manages the family business dealing in Sunmica sheets for furniture.
Kushwaha, who did not complete his Class 12 education, worked as an accountant in the family business, according to Dandotia.
Raja and Sonam, who had traveled to Meghalaya for their honeymoon, were reported missing on May 23. Raja's body was discovered in a deep ravine near a waterfall in the Sohra region (also known as Cherrapunji) of East Khasi Hills district on June 2.
Raja's family is engaged in the transport industry. He and Sonam were married on May 11 in Indore and departed for their honeymoon on May 20.
