Shocking Murder Case in Uttar Pradesh: Woman and Relative Collaborate to Kill Husband

In a disturbing incident in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, a woman conspired with her relative to murder her husband. This drastic action was taken due to her extramarital affair being obstructed by her spouse.

Details of the Case

The shocking murder was uncovered in the Bhiraavati village of the Dhannari police station area. The victim, Naresh Kumar, was found dead under suspicious circumstances while guarding his garlic crop in the fields. Initially, his wife, Sheela, attempted to mislead the police by suggesting that her husband's death was linked to an old feud involving her cousins. However, inconsistencies in her statements prompted the police to redirect their investigation.

Extramarital Affair and the Murder Plot

During a press conference, Police Superintendent Krishna Kumar Vishnoi revealed that Sheela had been involved in a long-term illicit relationship with her relative, Satypal. Naresh had become aware of this affair and was acting as a barrier between them. To eliminate this obstacle, Sheela plotted with Satypal to murder her husband.

Events of the Night of the Murder

On the night of the incident, Sheela went to the fields around 10 PM to deliver milk to her husband. After feeding him, she returned home and called Satypal to come over. The two then rode back to the fields on a motorcycle, where Naresh was fast asleep. Together, they strangled him using his own scarf and left him dead. Following the murder, Satypal fled the scene while Sheela returned home to avoid suspicion.

Police Investigation Reveals the Truth

The autopsy confirmed that Naresh died from strangulation. Armed with this information, the police conducted a thorough investigation using technical evidence and call records, leading to intense questioning of Sheela. Under psychological pressure, she confessed to the crime alongside Satypal. The police have since arrested Satypal and recovered the scarf and motorcycle used in the murder. Both suspects have been presented in court and are now in custody.
