The accused, a 30-year-old woman named Disha Ramtek, was involved with a man named Asif, also known as Raja Babu Tyrewala. Her husband, Chandrasen, was suffering from paralysis and undergoing treatment. Disha's affair became problematic for her as her husband discovered their relationship, leading to intense arguments between the couple.
Conspiracy to Commit Murder
Frustrated by the situation, Disha and Asif devised a sinister plan. One night, while Chandrasen was asleep, they plotted his murder. Disha restrained her husband in bed while Asif suffocated him. Following the incident, Disha claimed to the police that her husband had died due to his illness.
Truth Revealed in Autopsy
However, the autopsy revealed that Chandrasen had been strangled. During police interrogation, Disha confessed to her crime. Both she and her lover have since been arrested. This incident follows another recent case in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where a businessman named Raja Raghuwanshi was murdered by his wife, Sonam Raghuwanshi, in collusion with her lover, Raj Kushwaha, which has sparked significant media attention.
