Shocking Murder Case in Madhya Pradesh: Young Man Found Dead After Alleged Abduction

In a disturbing incident from Narmadapuram district in Madhya Pradesh, a 24-year-old man named Vishwas, also known as Chhotu Gurjar, was brutally murdered. What makes this case particularly shocking is that Vishwas was previously accused of abducting a girl.

Murder Linked to False Marriage Promise

On the night of April 12, 2026, Vishwas was lured to a location under the pretense of a false marriage proposal. Once he was deceived, he was taken in a car to a remote area near Nandwara, approximately 35 kilometers away. There, he was restrained by two individuals while two others viciously assaulted him with sticks. Reports indicate that after the brutal beating, his eyes were gouged out, and he was strangled to death.

Cover-Up of the Crime

Following the murder, the perpetrators attempted to conceal the body by stripping it and disposing of it in a well in a nearby field. After committing the crime, the four suspects fled the scene and sought refuge at the Hanuman Dham temple in Chhind, Raisen district. Remarkably, they managed to evade capture for three days by living off food from the temple's community kitchen.

Arrest of the Suspects

The victim's brother filed a complaint regarding the abduction at the Banakhedi police station, prompting an investigation. Upon arriving at the victim's home, police discovered that the male members of the household were missing. Utilizing tips from informants and technical surveillance, authorities apprehended the four suspects at the temple on April 15. Based on the information provided by the suspects, the police later recovered the body from the well. All four individuals have been arrested and are currently in custody as legal proceedings continue.
