Shocking Murder Case in Chhattisgarh: Woman Kills Husband in Fit of Rage

A shocking incident has emerged from the Duldula police station area in Jashpur district, Chhattisgarh. Santosh Bhagat, aged 43, was allegedly murdered by his wife, Mangrita Bhagat. Reports indicate that Mangrita had recently returned to the village from Mumbai. The couple had been embroiled in ongoing disputes, which escalated to the point where Mangrita, in a fit of anger, bludgeoned Santosh to death with a metal hammer.

Following the murder, she attempted to conceal the body. Mangrita wrapped Santosh's corpse in a blanket and stuffed it into a red trolley bag, hiding it inside their home. Subsequently, she called her middle daughter to confess, stating, 'I have killed your father, and his body is in a suitcase at home.' Alarmed by her mother's revelation, the daughter rushed to the village with her husband and informed her uncle, Vinod Minj, who promptly alerted the Duldula police.

Upon arrival, the police conducted a search of the residence and discovered the trolley bag. When opened, it revealed Santosh Bhagat's body, which was wrapped in a blanket and bore signs of blood on his face and hands.
