In the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh, a murder case has gained notoriety over time, often cited as an example of crimes linked to illicit relationships. This narrative revolves around a seemingly ordinary family, where suspicion, love, and anger culminated in a horrifying conclusion.

The victim was identified as Rajesh Kashyap, who led a simple life, yet harbored a secret within his marriage that ultimately cost him his life.

Investigations revealed that Rajesh's wife, Rita, had been involved in an extramarital affair with a young man named Faheem for an extended period. Rita frequently concocted excuses to leave home and meet her lover. Initially, Rajesh had no reason to suspect anything, but circumstances gradually shifted.

Upon discovering the affair, Rajesh openly opposed it, explicitly forbidding Faheem from coming to their home. This defiance would later prove fatal for him.

It is reported that both Rita and her lover Faheem were angered by Rajesh's objections. They viewed him as the biggest obstacle in their relationship. Consequently, they devised a plot, enlisting the help of Faheem's friend, Suresh.

The day the crime was committed appeared to be just another ordinary day. However, on that day, the trio conspired to strangle Rajesh Kashyap with a dupatta. After the murder, their primary challenge was to dispose of the body without raising suspicion.

Some time later, a corpse was discovered near a dry canal close to Jodhuwala village, causing a stir in the area. The body was identified as Rajesh Kashyap, prompting the police to launch an investigation.

During the inquiry, the police's suspicions fell on Faheem and Suresh. In questioning, Faheem admitted to his illicit relationship with Rajesh's wife, Rita. He also confessed that Rajesh was an obstacle to their affair, leading to the plan to eliminate him.

The police took Faheem and Suresh into custody, while Rita had been on the run since the incident. During the investigation, authorities recovered a dupatta, a mobile phone, and a purse, which were believed to have been used in the crime.

The entire investigation was conducted by the police of the Kotwali Dehat area. According to police officials, this murder was entirely the result of illicit relationships and conspiracy.
