Shocking Mobile Theft on Train: Youth's Daring Escape Caught on Camera!

Viral Incident on Janseva Express

A startling video has surfaced online, depicting a young man fleeing after allegedly stealing a mobile phone aboard the Bhagalpur-Muzaffarpur Janseva Intercity Express. The footage has gained significant traction on social media platforms.

The incident reportedly occurred near Bariarpur station on July 22, as shared by content creator Panchayat Wale Bhaiya on Facebook.

As the Janseva Express train number 13419 UP sped along, a young thief snatched a mobile device from a passenger. Once the theft was recognized, fellow passengers apprehended the suspect and began to confront him.

In the ensuing chaos, the thief found himself hanging from the train's footboard. The viral footage captures him in a torn vest, as passengers attempt to strike him with a belt. He can be heard making threats, claiming that if he was not released, he would take others down with him. Ultimately, he managed to evade capture by leaping into nearby bushes.

Following the video's viral spread, railway authorities initiated an investigation. Jamalpur Railway SP Dr. Raman Chaudhary confirmed that he became aware of the video on Wednesday, and the railway police are currently looking into the incident. He also mentioned that the Bariarpur station area has a longstanding reputation for theft and robbery.

Passengers are now calling for stringent measures from the railway police to enhance safety.
