The Beginning of a Troubling Relationship
The saga begins with a 27-year-old man from Obedullaganj, who frequently visited his sister's in-laws in Narmadapuram. During these visits, he met Shubham Yadav, a resident of Gwaltohli. Their acquaintance gradually blossomed into a friendship, which deepened into a romantic relationship by 2021-22.
Manipulation and Betrayal
The young man claims that Shubham ensnared him in a web of love, engaging in multiple intimate encounters at a hotel in Narmadapuram. To gain his trust, Shubham transferred 6 lakh rupees into his bank account. However, things took a dark turn when Shubham allegedly forced him into a life-altering situation.
Alarming Surgery and Assault
According to the victim, Shubham took him to a hospital in Indore on November 18, where he underwent gender reassignment surgery. Following this, on December 25, Shubham summoned him back to Narmadapuram and assaulted him.
Drugging and Coercion
The victim further alleges that Shubham administered drugs and confined him for 18 days, during which he performed rituals and assaulted him. He also mentioned being taken to a hotel near Meenakshi Chowk four times for similar acts.
Threats and Extortion
Shubham's actions escalated as he threatened the victim, demanding 10 lakh rupees. When the victim refused to comply, Shubham allegedly threatened his life, stating, 'If you come to Narmadapuram, I will kill you and set you on fire.' Frightened and desperate, the victim finally lodged a complaint at the Gandhi Nagar police station in Bhopal.
Ongoing Investigation
Due to the nature of the case, it has been transferred to the Narmadapuram Kotwali police station. The Sub-Divisional Officer of Police, Parag Saini, is taking the matter seriously and has formed two teams to apprehend Shubham, who remains at large.
