Recently, this startling case came to light when a woman, despite being married, was found engaging in an affair with her husband's younger brother. The husband became aware of the situation and reported it to the police. Upon hearing his story, the police were equally shocked and summoned both the brother-in-law and sister-in-law to the station. When they arrived, the allegations made by the husband were confirmed.

This incident is linked to a village in the Shyamdeourwan police jurisdiction of Maharajganj. The sister-in-law and brother-in-law developed feelings for each other, leading to a passionate affair. The sister-in-law became so infatuated that she distanced herself from her husband, deciding to spend her life with her brother-in-law, who felt the same way.

The woman, originally from Maharajganj, had married a man from a nearby village. Shortly after the wedding, she fell in love with her brother-in-law, who could not resist his attraction to her. Their affair escalated, causing conflicts between the husband and wife. Following a dispute, the woman returned to her parental home. As rumors spread, she made it clear that she wished to be with her brother-in-law, ignoring all attempts at persuasion.

She firmly told her family that she did not want to remain with her husband and insisted on living with her brother-in-law. Eventually, she moved in with him. Prior to this, she had accused her husband of domestic violence, prompting the police to call him in for questioning. The police also attempted to counsel the woman during their meeting, but their efforts were in vain. Ultimately, she remained steadfast in her decision to be with her brother-in-law.
