Shocking Kidnapping Incident on Train: Parents' Nightmare Unfolds
Kidnapping Incident at Saharanpur Junction
A disturbing incident has emerged from Saharanpur Junction railway station, where a couple traveling on the Howrah-Amritsar Mail train experienced a nightmare. The couple boarded the train at midnight with their two-year-old daughter. Shortly after settling in, they all fell asleep. However, chaos erupted around 12:30 AM when the couple woke up to find their daughter missing. They alerted the Government Railway Police (GRP), explaining that their child had been kidnapped while they were asleep.
The incident occurred on train number 13005, the Howrah Mail. The couple, who boarded the train from Dhampur, realized their daughter had been taken during their journey to Punjab. Upon waking at Jagadhari station, they discovered their child was no longer with them and immediately reported the situation to the local railway police. Investigations revealed that two women in burqas had abducted their daughter at Saharanpur station, a fact confirmed by CCTV footage.
The mother, identified as Neha from Punjab, recounted that they mistakenly entered a reserved coach and fell asleep with their daughter. Around 12:30 AM, she noticed her daughter Naira was still beside her, but when she woke up before Ambala, the child was gone. They searched the train but found no trace of her.
Neha mentioned that they encountered two police officers and shared their ordeal. A passenger seated near them reported seeing a woman who had touched the child's head before taking her off the train at Saharanpur station. The police were notified, and upon reviewing the CCTV footage, they confirmed that two women in burqas had taken the child.
