Details reveal that the accused girl initially befriended the young man from Dehradun through social media, along with four of her friends. After exchanging phone numbers, a romantic relationship blossomed. The young man became so infatuated that he traveled to Panipat at her request, believing they would spend time together at a hotel.

Ransom Demand of 2 Million

Upon arriving at the Moon Hotel in Panipat, the young man booked a room and awaited his girlfriend's arrival. However, as they were about to enter the room, four men suddenly appeared and forcibly bundled them into a car. They released the girl but kept the young man captive, demanding a ransom of 2 million rupees from his family. In a swift response, the Panipat police cracked the case within just 30 hours, successfully apprehending the main four suspects involved.

Authorities have indicated that the mastermind behind this entire plot, the young man's girlfriend, is currently on the run, and efforts to locate her are underway.
